Oramae Studios Ltd is an independent film production company dedicated to empowering artists. We introduce a new, community-driven funding model that reimagines how independent cinema is created, supported, and shared.
Through our app, your £0.99/month subscription, contributes to the Oramae Community Fund. A ring-fenced trasnparent fund used exclusively to support film projects selected each year by you.
Beyond funding, Oramae Studios Ltd has built a creative ecosystem—a space where filmmakers, actors and storytellers connect, collaborate, and grow.
The platform offers an immersive environment to showcase work, build meaningful creative relationships, and present a professional portfolio in one unified platform. Free from the noise of traditional social media.
At Oramae Studios Ltd, we believe every artist deserves a home to connect, and grow together. The film industry can be tough, often defined by barriers, closed circles, and missed opportunities.
That is why we are building something different: a community-driven hub where creativity comes first, connections are genuine, and funding is accessible to everyone.

Hello everyone, and welcome to Oramae!
My name is Sofia, and I'm so excited to share this incredible journey.
I am currently a doctoral student at Brunel University London, where my research focuses on ‘’The Universal Right to Dignity: A Critical Discussion on the Creation and Use of the LGBTQ+ Image in World Cinema.‘’ Alongside my academic work, I am studying filmmaking at Raindance Film School and acting at City Lit in London. I have also published my first nover ‘’ Dèjà Vu''.
While navigating the challenges of developing my own feauture film, particularly the barriers to funding and access, I realised that these struggles were not mine alone. That realisation led to the creation of Oramae: a space born from the belief that creativity thrives when we come together.
Stay connected with Oramae Studios' journey as we reshape the landscape of independent film making
